Kristi's Testimony  My life has been blessed with a beautiful heritage – a Godly family that loves the Lord and shared His love with me. As a young child in a single parent home, I grew to know the Lord as my Father, my comforter, my friend. At age five I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. When I was fifteen, I prayed that the Lord would test me and try me, examine my heart and know my mind. He heard my prayers and answered each one while carrying me through the darkest days of my life. During a lengthy illness and numerous surgeries, the ability for me to have children was taken away. I was only sixteen, yet despite the difficult circumstances, I knew who was in complete control of my life. The Lord had His mighty arms wrapped tightly around me, whispering His words of truths, promises of healing and of a life filled with His blessings. In 1997 I married one of those blessings, Darrin Brown. As Darrin and I prayed for the Lord's directions and provision for the growth of our family, we were reminded of God's perfect plan and perfect timing. In 2001 our lives were blessed with the birth of our daughter.  In 2004 the Lord blessed us once again with an incredibly handsome baby boy. Our children's adoption stories are AMAZING ~ just ask and I will gladly share them with you. I thank the Lord everyday for the blessings He has bestowed upon my life. Through each tear, heartache and disappointment, I have seen the hand of God reaching out to direct and lead ~ without His guidance and direction, I would be lost!
My desire in ministry is to empty of myself and be a willing vessel for the Lord. He has given me the gift of music to share His word through song. He has given me a testimony to share – a testimony of His provision, forgiveness and grace.
| More About ..... Currently, my husband Darrin is the Minister to Young Married Adults at our home church www.firsteuless.com I grew up in Bedford,Texas and attended college at Wayland Baptist University. I surrendered to the ministry at age 18 and began traveling in ministry and also serving on staff in various churches. My family just recently moved back to Texas from Florida, where Darrin was on staff at FBC Lakeland. During that time I worked for the University of South Florida as the Coordinator for Senior Adult (continuing education) Classes, while helping Darrin in ministry at our church. I love to shop for antiques, play golf and tennis, play with my children (I am great at "Go Fish", playing "Thomas the Train" and "Webkinz." ) I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching old movies ~ Doris Day is one of my favorites ... and cooking like Paula Deen. I love playing with my four pets, Bauer, Chloe, Chase and Brewster.
